Place is easy to miss and is Claustrophobic if you don't like small spaces. Don't let the appearance of the building fool you the food was great, Service is excellent very attentive and very kind. We had a party of three ordered butter chicken, Nirvana chicken, Roti and butter naan. Overall, food was wonderful flavorful Nirvana chicken was a spot on can't go wrong. My husband doesn't eat spicy, but we got spicy number one butter chicken, and he loves it. We have lots of leftovers they do give out an over abundance of rice and Shareable. Number one on his list because they had Modelo beer. Also ordered gulab jamun for dessert, I enjoyed the warm honey Syrup with a hint of saffron gives is a little kick, kinda like a pancake. Chai was good, it was nice that they gave two packets of sugar to adjust to my own Liking. We did get a complimentary strawberry yogurt, dessert to help neutralize The spices from the curry, which is fantastic! So far, this is the only place that I ever been to that gives you a Complementary yogurt to help with digesting. A restaurant that serves you good food at the same time caring about your digestive system. I dig it.Will be returning for sure! Keep up the good work!

Great place. I'm picky when it comes to Indian food. I had Punjabi roommates in the past and they introduced me to great Indian food. This place kicks butt. Everything was good. Saag paneer. The garlic naan, chicken vindaloo. All good. Go there! Great service. Those milkshake things are awesome too. They gave us some complimentary. Now I will order them.

Mushroom Mattar is must-have (and I say this as a meat-eater). Flavorful, hearty, ginger-y. Mushrooms are awesome for immunity and we all need that. These are fresh, not soggy, slimy or rubbery. The soft, pillowy, potato-like comfort of garbanzos provide amino acids, vitamins and minerals for the brain and nervous system, are better for blood sugar, help the gut, aid heart health, and are associated with lower risk of colon cancer. Order this! My spice of 2 provided heat, but not too much. Chef makes things with low-oil, which means there's room for meat, lassi, and anything else...including dessert. ;-) Few restaurants have the selection Butter Chicken Indian Kitchen has...my fave would be Gulab Jamun, but aslo Kheer, Rasmali...okay, all these, plus Halwa...so tempting. Just rotate based on if you want something warming (Gulab), cooling (Rasmali), finger-foody (Halwa), or familiar (Rice Pudding...but exotic). This place is amazing !! If you are looking for an amazingly delicious, filling and shareable meal and enjoy Indian food; this is your place. Small restaurant, very homie, great service, and amazing food.

The food was outstanding. I had the tiki masala with naan bread. Portions were huge. Definitely filled me up. Only drawback is I had a situation with their QR code review card. I will only pay cash from now on, but I will definitely go back because the food was excellent!

We stopped in on a Friday night without reservations and were able to get a seat in 10 minutes for a party of three. Our orders were taken promptly but it was tough to choose from the extensive menu. We started with some samosas and choose butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, lamb biryani, aloo gobi, and some naan for dinner. The food came with two huge bowls of rice. Food service was prompt but one of the samosas was a bit chilly in the middle. Everything was very flavorful. We really enjoyed the butter chicken and lamb vindaloo. The raita for the biryani was perfect to take the edge off of the slightly spicy dish. Service was excellent with multiple water refills and checking in on our food. This is a great addition to the Gig Harbor food choices and we loved the food.

So happy we have an Indian restaurant in Gig Harbor again! The food is really good! We enjoyed the samosas, butter chicken and rice, chicken biriyani, naan, and mango lassi. We called our order in ahead of time and then went downtown to pick it up, which worked out well so we didn't have to wait at the restaurant.

UH-MAY-ZING My wife and I love indian food and I especially love spicy Indian food. We decided to give this place a shot for our Friday date night dinner spot. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated politely. Parking spaces were prevalent! When we sat down we had a nice display and a pleasing atmosphere. Light music playing and just loud enough so you can have a private and intimate conversation. I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo level 5 spice and my wife had a mango lassi with the tandoori chicken. Everything tasted so so good. They even gave us a huge portion of rice with the entrée which was greatly enjoyed. The service was speedy and efficient and the food was fresh. Next time I will ask for spicier but I also have a high tolerance for spice. The portions are generous and so is the staff's kindness! We will be back here. We love this place! 10/10 recommended.

So so glad to have an Indian restaurant in Gig Harbor! I had butter garlic chicken tikka with garlic naan and chicken momos. It was fabulous, I will be dreaming of the naan until we meet again. The service was friendly and lunch came out quickly, they were very sweet and grateful for the business. I forgot to take pics and that is sad because it was very pretty.
